I’ve never use miracle grow I’ve just heard horror stories and the roots organic always turns out very nice so I just don’t want to lose that but I’ve heard nothing but good things about pro mix so far

Yea makes sense reason I asked is I had a 4x4 tent and I was doing 4 plants. I would get an average of a QP per plant. I just upgraded to a 5x5 because I talked to a few guys who was doing much better than me but they had bigger tents, what kind of light you running? What kind of nutes

600w mh/hps gh flora series

I'm only on my second cycle with promix with 3 tents under the belt with it and it so good it's stupid. it's so easy and forgiven. all of the forms of hydro I've done over 20 years it is my favorite medium yet. First cycle I used a lower pH from old habits but this cycle I'm trying 6.3 from advice and average of what others have told me. first cycle I think I watered a little too infrequently (every 5 days) and pH set at 5.5 and runoff closer to 6. ppm at 700 and runoff up to 900 and adjusted depending. My take on it after one cycle is I'm not going to worry too much about my ppms and try to find the balance to throw in an occasional watering without food. I was trying for f-f-w first half the grow but really felt half-way through that I didn't need to only water so much. Ended with 2 weeks of just water with plenty of salts still in the medium to finish nicely.

I'm not sure about the brown comment. I've actually grown in miracle grow. But they use a lot of sticks etc in the mix I've used. Some plants ends up purple sometimes. Some golden. I had a chocolate strain that was so dark purple it looked black. And tasted like chocolate. I guess the nutrients determine that mostly. Or lack of sometimes.

I’ve grown more weed with plain Miracle Gro turquoise crystals than any other nutrient. Go light and grow good pot.
