Proper triming when harvesting?

Just wanted to know the proper technique when you harvest and manicure your buds.. should you not trim leafs with any significant amounts of thc?Or will the green be harsher if too many leaves are left?

personally, i trim the leaves flush with the buds, but i don't go diggin for the whole leaf. some people do, i think because it's a pride kind of thing. they love the way the bud looks without any leaf remnants. as far as the smoke goes, the full trim treatment must smoke smoother, no doubt. but frankly, my bud smokes just friggin great!

Yea thats what I thought..the less leaf material on your shit the lesser the harshness, well heres my attempt to manicure my bud.. I guess this is one of the things you get better at with time,It just hurts cutting all those leafs with a nice amount to thc on em..

Did u harvest? or is that just a test nug. its easier with denser buds....but i try to get all of the fan leaves..i leave some of the thc caked small ones...

No I didint harvest, just cut the one to taste test.. I will let her go a longer so she could fatten up a bit more :mrgreen:

i like to get as much leaf off as possible, but it gets to be slow going.. i don't like how the leafy stuff burns in a pipe... you can really clip aggressively and you don't end up with much accidental bud shake - just a little bit..

trim ALL LEAVES completely, save the trim, and then look up how to make bubble hash
