I am a new grower.... I am almost ready to flower 4 indicas that are about 4 ft tall currently. I have them under 2 1000 watt lights. One is a blue metal halide bulb and the other a HPS, I am using both for a better spectrum. I have the plants in deep water culture and am wondering if it is likely to be able to accumulate a pound of mary jane from each plant????? Thanks!

Make sure your dealing with females. Look for the hairs.
just wait and see. 4 plants wont get you to much.
You should only veg for 3 weeks. i do 30 per light with two weeks veg time. plants finish at three feet tall. Ounce each
if they are all males you will only get 4 ounces of "flowers"
hermies.. you might get a half

this is your first grow? i really don't see you pulling a pound per plant ... they are huge numbers for an indoor grow, first grow or 100th grow.. i would love to see you do it, but i don't think its going to happen for you.. good luck with the grow though..

you should get 4 lights for those.
Yo it depends how healthy your plants are, and what strain you are growing.

well its pretty good equitment, but i think even so a experienced grower will struggle to pull 16oz dry off each plant, thats like 1.8Kg of wet pure bud, their gunna be monsters! what size if your grow room because at 4ft tall currently they're gunna at least double in height by the end of flowering. What strain are you growing? with some it will be alot easier to achieve a pound than others.

I have got 9 ft ceiling in a room that is 18x15. It is a very good sized room, I am also adding another 1000 watt HPS.

I think it's definitely possible, I have seen 1 lb from a single topped plant in dwc under only 400W. Treat em right, dont fuck it up, and go for the gold!!!!

Here's a link to my 3000w tree grow. There were 12ea plants in here & they topped out at 7'! Filled the room!

I've got 3000w's & CO2, in 15gal pots of organic soil.

I've been doing this for 15years, I average 8oz per, on a good grow.

See it here:https://www.rollitup.org/indoor-growing/291051-3000w-trees.html

I currently have 8 4' PK & GDP plants in there right now, & they look real good, I'll be lucky to get 8oz ea.

Good luck

Peace

P.S. I will admit I've never tried Hydro tho, so maybe?

I swear:wall: I am going to put the 1 pound plant myth TOO SLEEP....DIRT NAP!!!!!:cuss:

If you have 2 1000W & all that space...& 6 weeks veg....
you should pull EZ LBs Wet...
when you dry out...you'll be sitting on 8oz from each plant
& if you know how to work your PH & your PPMS...
& you SOG/LST/or SUPERcrop...OMFG...
you could get that 8oz per dry plant feeding them fucking CHEESEBURGERS

I saw you use tomato plant trellace... Is that working well for you? Is there any other trellace system you recommend?

Yes, the tomato cages work well. I tried just about everything, these are just easy to use.

Good luck bro, I wish you well.
