I have heard of Glycerine being used as a solvent for cannabis extracts and the safety level of such is very impressive. non-toxic, generally assumed safe for consumption etc.
GLYCERINE (GLYCEROL;1,2,3- PROPANETRIOL C3H8O3 CAS: 56-81-5 DOT:UNREGULATED

I also noted the fact that Propylene glycol (PG) and Vegetable Glycol may also work well. Some may note these are the chemicals used in vape pens and are left in solution for use. I can see tinctures being easy to make, but here is the question.
If you used one of these products for THC extraction, how would you get it out? I am guessing distillation wouldn't work. I have been using tinctures for vaping with great success, but thinking there must be a way to make a finished extraction product. Like BHO without the butane.
Any suggestions?
