pro's and con's of different cloning methods?

All those methods work. It comes down to personal preference. Some will have success using any method while others will fail using any method. I prefer cloning in coco myself but I can clone using any method. I use coco because it's easy and I don't have to fiddle with reservoirs, buckets, pumps, sprayers, etc... Just dip in cloning solution and put in coco. Roots within ten days usually.

the key to cloning is patience. don't even look at them for the first week. they wont have roots. many people will get pissed and just assume they failed not knowing if they wait another week they'll all have roots.
i've used rockwool and rapid rooters with clonex gel, they both work well for me. nearly 100% success rate. usually 10-14 days. humidity dome and misting once a day.
i've heard those aerocloners are the shit but i've never bothered.

Not sure if i am in right place but i have a question. I monstercropped a clone from my super skunk. To my complete surprise it took. Sat for 2 months then it went nuts. I mean totally insane. It has over 60 shoots on it. Can i clone this monster. And will the clones grow like the mother monster???

if you clone it in veg it will be a regular clone. clone it in early flower again and youll have another "monstercrop"

Rockwool works best I think. But so does dropping your cuts into a glass of tap water and letting them chill in the grow room for a week or 2. I have one I forgot about and the roots are crazy good lol.

I use water only have not lost a clone or added any hormones/chemical additives in 20 years
Once you put something into a plant its in the plants for its life cycle
Pros: nothing added to plant and 0 added cost
Cons: can take a few days longer then when using cloning gels or additives

A simple DIY bubble cloner is my chosen method. I made all of mine with repurposed coffee "cans", $12 aerator pump, and a few bucks worth of tubing and cloner plugs... runs with plain tap water.....Some pumps run 2 buckets even....Most cases, by 7 days they have tiny roots.
One key aspect of getting clones to root quickly, will be the state of health, the cut is taken from. A plant that is not firing on all cylinders, will produce cuts that can be a beeeyatch about taking root in time, before they become down with the sickness....

I use raw aloe right from the plant and usually rapid rooter plugs. I used to use peat pellets, and they were great too.

I originally made and used a bucket/spray setup which did a good job but had the potential to leak if you weren't careful about keeping it sealed. Decided to make a simple bubble cloner using a 12x18x6 tote and a small air pump and a couple of 4" stones. Works just as well as the bucket and is a lot easier to service.
I grow in dirt so rooting in dirt/coco works well for my setup. I use an organic rooting hormone powder and put them in solo cup full of seed starter mix. Cover with a plastic bag n rubber band to make a humidity dome and open every couple days to water/mist until there is new growth. Once I feel there are roots, the bag comes off.

the bottom line is ...if you don't have roots or even nubs in 10 days restart
