Pruning/Trimming

Quick question, when should you begin pruning(or trimming? idk the term) and how would you go about that? Sorry for such a noobie question. Have pity. :leaf:

i wouldent trim too much, what i do every crop is just trim off the bottom branch(s) no more then the bottom 2 or 3..maybe depends on the plant. But just basically the ones that don`t get much light. I do this to put more of the plant`s energy being wasted on those bottoms one only going to produce small popcorn bud, and put that energy twords the rest of the plant.
But never trim off any fan leaves that arent on the bottom, they are the plants "solar panels" or "power plants", they draw in energy for ur plant. so i would never touch these.

I don't trim any at all. My first experience trimming stressed the plant so bad it went male! Look, the best advice I can give you, as a new grower, just leave it alone. Seriously, just leave it alone and let it grow. Don't worry about pH, don't worry about adding CO2, don't bother trimming or pruning or LST or any of that other crap. Just focus on the basics, man. Keep it simple!
