Psilocybe Subaeruginosa grow

I thought id have a crack trying to let these buggers grow in a container. Since theyre apparently hard as fack to grow indoors ill be leaving my container outside. So basically what my plan is is to take the colonised wood chips i collected from a local patch and mix it into a container with more (uncolonised) woodchips and a few sticks and leaves to see what happens, my local patch is absolutely massive so i dont really care if this plan fails. So far i have put the colonized wood chips into the container with the uncolonized chips and with in a few days have already seem new mycelium growth. I will add pics as soon as im home. This is more of a journal to add more knowledge to the net as there arent many successful grows with this strain of shroom online ( 2 from what i can find)

Heres a few pics of some jars and a bag of pine needles im trying to colonize, ive only put 1 small piece of colonozed wood chip in each jar and so far the 2 jars are already showing signs of colonization after only 2 days in the jar and the bag of pine needles i only just started, keep in mind the jars were sterilized and the pine needles are not, my reasoning for is due to research saying that Subaeruginosa doesnt always need sterilization im assuming this is bcoz the mycelium seems to be extremely aggressive and fast

i have noticed the same in psilocybe cyanescens, i initially germinated on a sterile substrate but realized that the spores were not sterile themselves. I thought "well fuck this, ill never get them growing". But then i noticed that the common contaminants found in BRF tek and PF cannot compete for a wood based substrate with a wood loving mycelium. The mycelium can then use the hardwood as a home base and fight contaminants in grains (if you have a mixed wood/grain substrate) from the comfort of the wood since the contaminant wont really try and eat hardwood anyway.

Ive been told cyannescens is almost identical to subaeruginosa. Do you have any pics im keen to see how it looks as ive got a few small spots of green in the jars but they sooooo slow growing

the white clump in the larger jar was a BRF/oak chip cake that was contaminated with trichoderma. The trich went to spore and everything. Well, the Ps cyan ate it all so I emptied the BRF/OAK jar into a jar of damp aspen shavings (rabbit beddng). The little jar is a transfer i made from that same BRF/oak but instead of aspen shavings i used old dead bamboo that i split into shanks, crammed in the jar, and soaked for a few days prior.

New, I won't be harvesting until fall and/or spring unless I grow in the fridge .

Heres some pics of a another container i started at same time as the jars. The stuff in it is saw dust similar to hamster bedding. The mycelium has absolutely gone nuts in this stuff, after 1 day ive seen a huge amount of growth, the colonized piece of wood chip o put in it was white with no mycelium reaching out abd after only 1 day its reaching all over. Oh and if anyones wonderong those sticks covering the piece of wood chip is weed stems lol

More pics. I also put a casing layer of pine needles over all the wood chip as ive heard pine needles contain certain bacteria that ps. subaeruginosa needs to fruit but apparently grass contains it aswell
