Okay i just read this and its somewhat disturbing and not sure if it's true. If anyone could tell me if it is I would appreciate it. "Let's talk about urine for a moment.

The body does not actually metabolize psychedelic mushrooms, so most of the psychoactive compounds get washed out with the user's pee. Haha, wow. I never heard or read up on that. That is pretty cool, too bad I don't do shrooms anymore lol but I will definitely relay that info to some friends of mine who do it. Maybe i can convince them to do it haha. On another note for that article, it has a list of 7 species that get high more that we do. I was pretty suprised to see that the koalas weren't on there. Koalas are literally stoned 24/7. Because the bamboo/leaves that they always chewed has effects like thc that only affect koala's. I'm guessing koalas have some kind of receptor that humans don't have. But if you look at the koala, they are always spaced out.

So if you eat a shroom, take a piss then drink it the ride starts all over again? is there anyway to dilute the flavor of Piss? :| haha.

From what I understand that is only true of the amanita muscaria mushrooms which prime constiuents are musicmol and ibotenic acid, both of which produce enthogenic effects. Ibotenic acid is decarboxylated into muscimol, muscimol being 10 times more potent. A large amount remains uneffected in the urine which has been kept and reused for further rituals. I don't think its possible to retain enough active psilocybin, and I would think all of the psilocin does get metabolized, ionized or oxidized.

I think I have read that MDMA remains 60% unchanged in the urine, meaning ~60% of the MDMA you take will be reusable in your retained urine. I have heard of E-tards keeping their urine to keep their roll going another few hours.

this applies for amanita muscaria.. the body makes the ibotenic acid go through decarboxylation and produce muscimol.

It can pass through the kidneys like 7 times before it starts to break down, as shep said, it applies to amanitas.

i lived in alaska for a few years, and there are GIANT amanitas (like 7-8 inches across and 2 inches thick) growing all over the place in the spring about 2 - 3 weeks after break-up. Unfortunately when i was up there i was under the impression amanitas were JUST poisinous, not psychotropic... wish i had done some research

hahaha! Has anyone recycled their shrooms?

I heard this type of mushroom makes your size perception extremely disoriented.

But it contains some poisons.. you need to shave the white bumps off the caps I think
