Waddup?? Giving my camera a few minutes to charge up so I can use the flash....just wanted to give you guys a quick text update, in case you felt like reading. The pictures post will be after this one. Looked in my tent today after the first night of 12/12. If you just recently joined my journal, the hydro plant I have going has shown her pre-flowers for about a week or 2 now. So if I remember right, Lemon Qleanor x Caseyband (1) was the bigger of the bunch, and turned out a male. Gonna throw him off to the side in my old card board box for a while. The other big Lemon Qleanor x Caseyband I had turned out to be a girl! Purple BS #1 turned out a girl, as well as Black Sour Bubble #1, Hopefully the rest will show soon and turn out girls :)......if I can get atleast 2 more girls, I'll be more than pleased.

edit: My camera was messing up again, and I'm having trouble getting the pics on my computer....I'll try again in a little bit. Sorry guys :/

Man I've been ridiculous busy lately, Ill try my best to get pics up again tomorrow.... Gonna just have to retake pictures √ So far I took 1 Lemon Qleanor Male out, and put the hydro plant in it's place. Out of the 9 I have in the tent, so far 7 of them are Female. The only one's I'm still waiting on, are Random THC#1 and Purple BS#2. I'd really like both to be male so I can throw that BJxBB and SSHx into the tent, but I won't complain about girls √

Waddup??? Sorry it took me forever guys! as I was taking pictures today I realized one of my Calizhar x CB plants is a male, so I took him out....beautiful though, so I'll probably take some pollen from him. √ Also, my Purple BS #2 is a male as well, so I'll get to make some Purple BS Seeds as well. √ I threw the BJxBB and the SSHx into the tent, looking forward to flowering these things out!

2-3 more weeks for some bud porn :leaf:

Very cool brother ya got a lot going on too! Crackalackalin!!Your one hydro plant looks healthier than the others, the plants in soil have some sort of issue going on. According to this it looks like either a magnesium deficency due to ph lock out or possibly a zinc deficency......http://www.icmag.com/ic/showthread.php?t=11688

I just skimmed this article but I'm going to reread it as I have a couple of strains with issues too and this is a huge help. RIU has one too but I couldn't find it right off.

Your garden is doing awesome Psychild man been looking forward to the pics! Have a good one!!

I noticed that your ph'ing your water and nute soln and testing with a drop kit.
Would I be correct in assuming that you don't test your runoff then either? It looks like ph to me also, particularly because your hydro doesn't show that and of course your ph'ing the input and probably testing/adjusting throughout. I noticed your not using gardening lime (dolomite), this will regulate your ph in soil for you. It is super cheep and widely available, once amended you won't have to ph your water going in anymore.
That being said you got some bushy little girls there! Well on their way!

Yeah DC Beard recommended dolmite lime (powdered kind) to me a couple of years ago and I use it regularly. I have it kind of zeroed in at 2 or 3 teaspoons per gal. I don't test my run off I just look at the plants and they tell me what they want. I don't know about being one with nature...maybe one with my pot plants lol.

Keep up the good work man : !)

Me too, I have test equipment but I only use it with hydro applications. Personally I feel like the lime additionally makes sweet, sweeter. I don't measure it in per se though, I just toss a roughly a small handful per gallon, but in my minds eye it's probably a bit heavier than HC like tablespoons instead of teaspoons.

**HC, is a plant shaman! :D

great update dude!!! they're right, you have a deficiency there... do you also add earthworm castings to the soil? this allows the micro nutes like calcium and magnesium, and zinc and others to travel to the plant.

add some garden lime and castings to your soil and feed with a nice balanced plant food with plenty of micros and they will turn around in a few days!!!!

Thanks for the link man! I'm pretty sure I figured out what was happening though :/ Pretty sure I was burning them, causing a Zinc lockout.....It's been about a week since their last feeding, and they ll seem to be greening up much better now that they aren't getting an NPK overload....Honestly I'm not too positive it is a pH problem. I tried lowering the pH from 1 TBS. (ACV) / Gal, to 1.5 TBS / Gal and all it did was make the new growths brighter, and just made the plants look worse. Since I lowered it back to 1 TBS, they've started to look much better.

I did notice a few days ago I wasn't pH'ing my Run off, and told myself I needed to do so, but keep forgetting. Lime has been in the back of my head for a few days now, but just lost my job, so until I find a new one, I probably won't be getting any :/ Funny thing is though, I don't test my hydro plant at all. I throw the 2 gallons of water in there, 2 TBS of ACV, and add somewhere around 3/4 TSP of nutrient solution. The only thing I actually measure out for her is the ACV, the rest I just throw in there and hope I didn't do too much.

Definitely didn't know the Worm castings thing....good to know! Thanks Stoney!

edit: I'm not even gonna lie, I've been considering switching to hydro lately.....seems like it would be MUCH easier, and less messy. Soil has been my biggest nightmare so far >< And I don't even mess with my hydro plant at all. Last res change was like 3 weeks ago lol I should probably hop on that today √
