PThort suggests 3 feed then water; is anyone doing this?

I normally do the standard feed water feed water method with my Promix, but this is the first I've seen a recommendation to do 3 feed to every 1 plain watering. Does anyone else do this? I use Dynagro at like half strength in veg and they can start burning even doing fresh water every other feeding; I couldn't imagine feeding nutrients 3 times before giving them a rinsing.

I feed with nutrients 4x a day in roots organics soil and never "rinse." My plants never end up burnt at harvest.
