Puck's cfl half assed cabinet grow

I am starting 2 Bubba Kush feminized seeds from Greenhouse seeds. I grabbed an old clothes closet and got some seeds from Greenhouse. I put them in a zip lock bag with a wet paper towel Nov. 1st. These pictures were taken on the 10th with mostly 2700 lumen cfl's and a couple 6500's. I am using MG Orchid potting soil due to the fact that it's ph is guaranteed to be between 6.5-6.8 and I have stacked book's etc. so I can pull them out as the girl's grow and I don't have to move the light's (I said it was half assed!) I don't have any experience with Bubba Kush but have read some mixed reviews as to the actual genetic lineage so any input would be great. I will try to update with pictures once a week. This grow, I hope will help me forget about this past season's outdoor grow and the mold issues encountered in the fall. I don't know how to put a link to it so all of you that didn't check it out last year you will have to trust me, it was a bummer.

LOL, no the 2700's were light's I had kickin' around the house and I bought a couple 6500's the other day... One of them already
crapped out on me after 24 hours... Didn't get my $'s worth on that one!!!!

Yea, I think I want to get 50/50 2700's and 6500's for veg and all but 1-2 2700's for flowering. I think I may train
them vertically like an lst but a little different...

Pictures taken on Thursday, a little curling of the leaves from heat. I moved the plants away from the light to help that. The leaves are the widest that I have ever grown, also internodes are extremely tight, too tight I think. I had dreams of training one of them 90 degrees and let apical dominance take over but the branches would be waaaay too close. I wouldn't be able to get lights in between them without some significant training.
The smell is already getting bad.. I have an exhaust fan from a bathroom light fixture I may pack with activated charcoal to relieve the smell. Right now I just pull the plant's out and spray Febreeze in there. I DON'T WANT THE FINISHED PRODUCT TO SMELL OF FEBREEZE!!!

Looks awesome bro! sub'd to keep track, love watching CFL grows.

Wanted to add pic's from the side, you can see how tight things are. One other
$ saving suggestion is the light fixture I bought at Walmart. It's a pole lamp with
5 outlets for $20. You have to clip the wire and pull the poles off of it and the weighted
bottom, then re-wire it and off you go. The "necks" are posable so it makes for a
great option for lights.

Update: Things are progressing nicely, the Orchid MG shit works great! I haven't lost a leaf, even the pre-leaves are still there and GREEN! I plan on switching to 12-12 Dec. 1st and that's when the real fun will begin.
I think I will be growing a couple more in Feb. and I think I will try one with 6500's and one with 2700's and see what the difference is. I wonder if GH Bubba Kush is supposed to grow so stout and short or it's because of the 2700's...

LOL update finally, just switched to 12/12 and the girls are starting to stretch. The nodes are still pretty tight so I am hoping for a nice top cola on each. I am going to start to give some blooming nutes soon, I am hoping that it won't burn them...
I gotta say something about the new show Weed Wars. I watched the first episode and I don't want to piss anyone off but I think people have a hard time taking the legalization of MJ seriously when they see guy's by the name of Dress. These guy's are the people that started the movement when nobody thought it was possible and have made HUGE STRIDES for us. I have so much respect for them but maybe we need to find someone else to be a spokesman for the movement...

Things still stretching slowly, no pre flowers yet after 13 days but the top of each is bunching
up nicely so it shouldn't be too much longer. I will be adding a little bit of molasses next watering
in preperation for the actual flowering stage. Again, hoping for the balance of the budding growth
to be on the top so I can concentratrate the light on the top like I am now...

Sorry it's been a while but things are heating up now, may have a light leak 'cause they are stretching some more but
flowering nicely! I have them on 12 hours dark at night but my room next door has cfl's for lamps etc. Hope everyone had
a wonderful Christmas and looking forward to a happy and safe New Years!

Disaster!!!! Lights fell on the girl's.... Lost the top of this one and the side of the
other. I think it survived but we will see...

Any sort of kush is likely a hybrid with an INDICA stain mixed in....I think that strain might be either a full Indica, or a hybrid that is Indica DOMINANT.....HENCE THE SHORTNESS...
