Puffin's First Journal and DWC attempt help appreaciated

I took clones about 10 days ago were very healthy. Put them in a diy bubble cloner with ph'd tap water and some h202. Went on vacation to find one had a root after seven days but there was a white snot/slime substance on the base of one of the cuttings so i carefully removed the slime. I then cleaned my res with h202 and soaked my airstones in h202. I then added nutrients to 250 ppm some h202 and ph'd the water to 5.9. The only problem so far is the foliage is looking horrible but all of the clones have at least one root. I have rooted in rapid rooters and have never experienced this amount of yellowing.

Help would be greatly appreciated.
The first two pics are about 2 days from being cut and the next two pics are of the foliage of a couple girls the fifth pic is of the best root structure. The last pic is what my buddy is working with.

I've always been terrible with clones =P. How do you intend on transplanting from the neoprene collar to a hydro setup? Straight into hydroton? Wrap it in rockwool then into hydroton?

Hey Vumar,
Thanks for the reply. Well i have seen on this forum and other forums of people just putting there roots in the net pot and surrounding with hydroton. I will be using a scrog approach as well so this should help stabilize the plant later on in its life. I am personally not a big fan of rockwool so i tried this method.
I used to have about 95%-100% with root riot cubes, a clone dome and a heating mat. With your cloning troubles do you clone off of seeds or other clones because i feel like that i would get 50% succes with clones from seed and 95-100 with clones from clones. But this could just be operator error.
Also i followed your thread every once in a while and i would like to say job well done.

Well thank you, I assumed not many followed it =) I guess there are more readers than posters as well. I just recently posted a closing update. Check it out =)

My clones were from seed. I had them in rockwool cubes for 5-15 days. Heat matt set on 80 F, clear humidome with slotted tray, and kept moist. I took 6 female clones and only 2 rooted. 1 died as soon as I putt her under the CFL (drooped right over) and now the other resides in my bathroom (red solo cup soil grow) LOL. I keep the lights on in there... so I can keep my Wonderwoman genetics. Im going to build a DIY small 2.5/3gal bubble-cloner. 3-4 air stones with 3 small neoprene inserts... I didnt like cloning in RW at all... heard bubbles was x10 easier.

For me personally it seemed like the bubble cloner was a little more difficult but i have never tried anything hydro just soil so it is probably 100% user error. Next time you clone try some like root riot cubes or something similar as a back up to your bubble cloner.

I would like to add a little update as well. I installed my 400 watt light, 6 " fan and carbong filter yesterday they seemed to like it. I did a res change on the cloner because more snot slime stuff was in the res i took the ppm down to 150. One clone has greened up a little

Hello puffinpenguin......

I am not a fan of rock wool either......I just go right from my clone bucket.....and rap the roots around in my basket and gentaly fill with hydroton...

I can't remember a time that a clone has died on me....right now I have 11 clones going in two 5 gal buckets....They are about 8 weeks old sence I cut them....I have 2 or 3 weeks to go before my crop will be done and I can get them in the tent....

Here's some pic's of my clone buckets....I don't use air stones in my clone buckets just water pumps......I just thought I would share my method because it has worked so good for me....
