Fairly simple question;
-How much pulverized lime do I add to spagnum peat moss to raise my pH to the desired level?
I did some searching, and found the range of 2 tablespoons per 5 gals, to 1 tablespoon per gallon...
My thought is that the 2 per 5 is when mixed with pro-mix not straight up peat moss, the 1 per 1 might be for the pure moss.
What I have you can buy at Lowes,
8 bales of Premier Sphagnum Peat Moss
Each bale is 3.8 cubic feet~ 107 liters~25 gals
Also a 40 pound bag of pulverized lime
I also have 24 cubic feet of perlite, 4 per bag.
Come on, let me in on what you know so I don't have to keep retesting amounts and checking the runoff...
