Puppy took the top half off

Okay, so I was asleep and during sometime in the night my puppy plucked off the top of the plant.. as you can see the 2 leaves are still on the stem. Will it regrow if I keep feeding it? Or is the plant just ruined?

The cotyledon leaves (smooth non-serrated seed leaves) are just food for the growth nodules. I don't think they supply any growth hormone for the plant.

I could be wrong, but I think she's a goner.

Definitely let it play out though, don't trash it till it's dead.

Only time will tell for sure but it will likely die. Just have to wait and see but at least you have not lost much time. Remember, where there is life there is hope. It may surprise you.

All I want to know is the puppy dose it live hopefully on pet was harmed in the making of this thread

Op I think you got a 50/50 shot at saving it you might want to put something around or pots clear pots are not so good the best of luck as always thank you for your time

I would just ride it out and see what happens I had deer eat tons of my planta down to stims and there doing fine now just really short n stubby lol

No new growing shoot from that area of the plant , i think its a goner but you can try to keep it going and see if it grows a new shoot. Best of luck to you.

Ps keep dogs and cats away from plants, hard lesson learned.

Barking up the wrong tree I see. More seriously tho never hurts to try, if she wants to fight and live she will but it’s a serious but it would be a miraculous recovery as the odds are no longer in your hands.

use plant tape to mend it. Try to get it on as best you can and see if it will heal. I hope it does.

Don't be hard on the puppy, it's always the owners fault, everything they get into. That puppy will be around long after the weed is history regardless. You want a good and loyal dog, you get the dog you deserve. Put in the work and get the rewards.
