yeah ive herd some bad stories about using molasses if you dont dissolve it enough or use to much. but i think if i only use about a tablespoon or so and properly dissolve it i shouldn't have a problem

I'd disagree with what you've heard. Molasses is best suited for soil. It feeds the microherd in the soil and allows for easier uptake of nutrients by the plant's root system. I've read where it can be used to kill off chloramine and chlorine found in municpal water sources, but for hydroponics or dwc the cleaner the better IMO. People use microbes and whatnot in the reservoirs and then will add molasses or whtnot to feed, but I believe even the microbes shouldn't be added for hydro (defeats the purpose of being percise because you never know round to round how the bennies will perform, even soil growers have attested to this) but I would use a product like Botanicare Sweet in place.

i was at the hydro store today and talk to the guy there and he said molasses will work but you really have watch and make sure its dissolved properly and not much. He said that there was no need to add microbes that with the other nutrients its able to be broke down some how i dont remember all exactly what he said but i ended up picking up some other nutrients instead. Dont have to worry as much that way.
