Hello, This is a mostly experimental grow with "Pure Powerplant" fem. from Dutch Passion, starting from seed. The point of the grow is to establish a healthy mother plant indoors during the winter that I can take cuttings from to plant outside in the spring. However I am also doing it to try out Low Stress Training (LST) and to try and make as many clone sites as possible.

This is my third grow, the first two were in abandoned buildings from which I stole the power with 6 NL plants under an 1000w HPs. This eventually became far too stressful and so now I will stick to outdoor growing during university.

I will be using a equal mixture of Perlite, Vermiculite and Peat Moss in a 5 gallon container.

I am Growing under 2 48watt, 6500k CFLs Using "General Hydroponics" Nutes.

I would also like to mention that Ladybugs have chosen to live around my plant, many have died but the three that remain are Bob, Chancy and Bubblo Mcneely. You may see them in future pictures.

I will update weekly with new pictures and Ladybug status. Cheers

P.S Here is my closet and my darling to date (day 36)

I train using a method I developed myself based on everything Iv learnt. I use two pieces of bendable grate stuck in the ground for support and attach the plant to it with pipe cleaners.

Thought I would show Margret's (PPP) Progress through her first month of life. At first I trained with pencils but then realized pipe cleaners were more efficient.
Enjoy :bigjoint:, Last Pic is from today. The first three show how much Margret Grows per day.:-P

Today I put together a watering system I developed that makes watering easier, more discreet, and also gives me a spot to put my clones in the future.

"See the pictures below"
I simply attached the two containers together with some PVC attachments (2$) and some Vinyl tubing(8$).

I also bought a Whisper air pump with a long airstone for my future DWC, bubbleponic cloner.

Now all I have to do to water is lift up my Cloner (only 5kg or so).
This saves me water, nutes and time!

However I don't know how often I should replace my nutes... can anyone help me with that?? Thanks in advance.
And feel Free to Comment.

Well no comments to date but lots of views so Ill just keep on keepin on.
-Changed the setup to get rid of that ugly black plastic i had up before:dunce:, I just used a white tarp folded 4 times and stapled it to the top.
-Dunno if I mentioned this allready but I do in fact live with my parents and so the grow must be entirely light proof . Which it wasnt before but is now.
To date I have 10 possible cloning sites and I will probably take a couple soon just for shits and giggles.;-)

Check out how much she has grown in just one week! Also my room smells really healthy with the slightest tint of weed:leaf:. Despite an air neutralizer i bought from canadian tire for 3$.
Temp is a constant 24 but the humidity goes from 50 to 20 depending on if Iv watered or not. I have to switch my water just about every week and a half it looks like... 8L goes by quick.

Peace everyone, please comment with suggestions or ideas:lol:

Made myself a DWC, bubbler cloner out of a 1 dollar plastic shoe box, some pudding containers and some tape.
All I did was drill 12 holes for clones that will eventually go into dirt, then cut four squares for clones I want to root in rockwool. I cut some strips out of the pudding cups as an alternative to 2$ netpots.
I simply hooked up my current bubbler to this bad boy and took three cuttings 3 days ago. They are looking swell.

I have got two recipients for the clones so far and they plan to put them directly into flower! one in soil, one in a DWC , I will post a link and or pictures soon. Also bought enough Mylar to cover my grow so I can get rid of my tinfoil!
Peace yall:leaf:

Hello all dedicated viewers that post absolutely nothing here! just joking but ya haha just upgraded my setup to mylar and now it looks ill..

The two clones i took previously rooted into monsters but unfortunatly i messed up a bit putting them in soil and so i think one is donezo...

Took 12 clones today because my plant was just way too big and too many potential bud sites werent getting enough light! this like 5$ cloner is working soo well . not to brag but it is succesfull 100% so far.

I have my third order in for people buying clonees and i need to produce 50 before spring, i think it should be a piece of cake im gonna just root them all and then just grw them DWC style in my resevoir. wierd maybe but i think it should work.

Check out my pics before and after as well as the monster roots I created.. PEACE YALL

I've never seen your style of LST before, granted I've only been researching for a month or so. But still! I like it a lot. I'm constructing my space now and LST is inevitable for my plants. Are/were you training your mother to grow along the outside of the fence when that pic was taken? You could do it, couldn't ya?

Hey Tugweezy, thanks man ya i was using the grate as a guide for the plant in the beginning and just put pencils over the plant so it would bend. Then i grew it along the outside but found it restricted my fan leaves, alot, even though it gave me lots of control. HOWEVER i found it to be a lot easier once it was better to staple on some wire loops to the side of the bucket and then use pipe cleaners to tie it down. Pipe cleaners are amazingly easy as they can just perfectly bend to hold down the plant in place. Hope that helps.

you deffinitly need to cover that tub with something so light doesnt hit the roots.
Ya i guess i could but i really like being able to see the status of my clones. Also i have no nutes in the bubbler and i throw a tsp of peroxide in every once and a while just in case. So far 3 out of 3 clones have survived. What exactly does light do to the roots?

Great job thus far. I will be taking from some of this to start mine up but i might go with Ebb and Flow setup. I think the Light can damage to roots but usually it is just to save the nutes in your Res. I like the pipe cleaner idea, I used unfolded paperclips.

Subscribed BTW.
Thanks man thats awesome, ya the pipe cleaners can be used over and over with ease. also they're soft and dont cut into the stem.

I need some new lights for my clones does anyone have any suggestions? I was thinking either T4's or some more CFL's. Any input would be appreciated.

Well Today I discovered that if you leave your lights off for 4 days, then your plant looks exactly like a plant with Magnesium deficiency. Lighter coloured new leaves, almost white new growth.

I left on a vacation to the caribean for a 10 days and left my mother in someone elses care. Who did everything perfectly except accidentaly (NO IDEA HOW) changed my timer so that instead of turning off and on once a day. It turned OFF twice a day.

Anyway I think she should be fine, my camera was dead but I will upload some pictures tomorrow if I can. PEACE

Looks great! Im wondering where you got the CFL from? I need to find a 6500k bulb. I have 40w cool white CFL for vegging but I think its only 4100k

Hey so ya Im not sure where you live and if you have a home depot.. but i got all my cfl's from there. 13$ each, and they also have ones good for flowering. However I have also seen them at walmart I believe.

Fuck Iv been trying to post pictures for you guys for a few days and it wont let me . It says there is a security problem???? wtf anyone know anything about this?? I changed my setup completely and I want to show it.:wall:

Hey everybody, sirsmokesalot especially, sorry I havent been able to post in a while, the pics havent been uploading recently. ANYWAY so as I am going to university next year I am getting ready for an outdoor crop for myself as well as producing some clones for a fellow grower... All in hopes of getting some funding for my self while still doing my hobby, Growing.

SO, what Iv done is taken a lot of stuff out of my grow room and seperated the grow into 3 seperate growth stages, all under CFL's.
-I have my mother, constantly producing about 15clones every couple weeks.
-Then I have my cloner, made out of this shoebox thing which has space for 16 clones and has a 100% success rate so far. no big deal haha
-Then I have my resevoir, in which I throw my rooted clones into a 1/4 strength nute solution in preperation for planting outside. Each one is supported by styrofoam, allthough I might switch it to neopreem next week.

BTW I will soon post pics of my outdoor grow sites, all of which are near a beautiful stream and on public land! Cant wait, anyone have advice for a guerilla grow? my plan so far is to plant in burlap sacs and hide them on sticks in the marsh, its called natuve style growing....
That way they are completely hidden and i wont ever have to go water.!
thanks, and CHECK out the pics. PEACE.

Well this is all very confusing because I posted me switching to neopreme cutouts that i cut from those kid mats on my last post.... even though I did it today. so here are the pics from a week ago that I couldnt post- for some odd reason. Also I did a little trial run on transplanting one of the clones from my cloner into a biodegradable pot thingy i got at Canadian tire... hope it works!
