Purple Chemdog/dawg - GDP x Chemdog (or vice versa)...

So going back about 3 years ago now I purchased a batch of Purple Chemdog and was told the genetics were GDP x Chemdog. It had everything one looks for in a cross like this.

After sampling a few bongs it was as if I could completely comprehend what the breeder was aiming to achieve when they set out on that particular breeding project. It was quite literally a perfect amalgamation of the most desirable traits of both cultivars, at least from the consumer's perspective. An even 50/50 split representation of both cultivars in terms of their aroma and taste.

In fact I can remember saying to myself at the time that even if I had zero experience with GDP or Chemdog prior to coming across this stuff then just this single encounter with the Purple Chemdog would have been adequate enough to provide an accurate insight into how they would smell and taste on their own immediately after consuming it.

Specifically, I recall that it was dark purple on the entire outside of the nuggets but when you cracked them shits open they had a pool table felt green with purple/violet streaks through the "pool table green" and it stank to high heaven. Smelt like gassy grapes or (or would it be grapey gas?).

Anyway I've been trying to hunt that shit down ever since to no avail. Any idea on bred it? I know Cali Connection offers a 'Purple Chem' but it's genetics aren't what I'm looking for. Would it possibly one Ken Estes' many GDP crosses? I noticed that he was offering a GDP x Chem in his line.

Anybody here in the know on this particular subject?

CSI humboldt’s purple dogbud (chem91 x purple urkle) is one of my favorite strains I grew, my favorite phenos were loud grape gas. I bought another pack years ago to look through more
