Purple haze week 8

Always looking into dialing in my grow, want to know if anyone sees any concerns or issues, it's at week 8 and looking close to finished, ppm is at 900 and then 1000-1100 when I get home and adjust, temps are low to promote purple growth, have ice bottles in the resevoir, but it's looking pretty close to being done to me. Gonna give it another 2 weeks at least probably as this is my best harvest yet.

Honestly I never ran the strain so I can't say
I would look at how long the strain takes to finish
And compare that with where your at ...also the tricome production...normally the leaves would be yellowing out in places and dying off showing the plant is finishing up ....look up the strain finish time
That should give you a good idea where your at in your process....great job tho ✌

I just read one of our esteemed members last night who said,
you can harvest too early, but never too late. Just bud for thot.
I have to disagree on harvesting too late being impossible. I’ve done it for sure. I was waiting on more amber trichs and they never came.
There are many variables that go into a plant finishing according to the ideal script. Sometimes all the stars don’t line up and for a litany of reasons a plant won’t amber up.
In my cases, I waited and the buds lost some of their terp profile. They lost some of their aroma and stickiness while still growing.
I’m not talking about losing a certain smell after drying and/or curing. That’s a different set of issues altogether.
If they have flowered for 8 full weeks, not counting the time after the flip before they actually started, I’d say you’re real close. Have they went through a noticeable swell and have the desired/expected aroma? If so, You’re likely in the early window, which looks more and more appealing to me as I get older and have more grows to learn from.

Thank you! Yeah they are sticky and stinky and heavy I think once all the pistils are receded I'll chop it, I'm a fan of cloudy trichs much more than amber ones

Look at the tricks and check and see how cloudy they are ....if their still 70% clear you can let them go a little longer ...don't want to put all that good work in only to shit your crop away by pulling early or not flushing properly....you wanna get those ppms down as low as humanly possible I try to get mine to 50 ppms by time I'm done flushing

Thanks! Yeah, I haven't tried flushing yet, but I'm bit on taste, I've taken it down from 900-600 this week, but I think I'm gonna flush this one it's too nice to cut any corners. My tap water is 300ppm so I've been using ro water these past few weeks.

Above was a ref to the post as follows:
It is very easy to harvest a plant to early. It is very hard to harvest a plant to late. I’ve never seen someone accidentally wait too long.

They look to me like they have more swelling to do and ripening. 1-2 weeks might do it, could be 3 I’ve never ran those specific plants. But I guarantee those buds will put on more weigh, and if they are healthy and have a good environment they should continue to improve quality to their fullest ability as they ripen.

go ahead and lower the feed levels they are VERY green still. But I would give them their chance to finish.

you can read the link in the post above mine to see my full explanation on ripening and harvest time.
