show some buds hanging! we want bud porn!!wow this thing finished quickly, didnt it? how many days total?? i know this wasnt a purple pheno but did any of the buds turn out to be a lil purplish? looks like they got some good color on the plant itself
Indeed they did my count on days was 53. Was going to go for 56 but i liked what i tasted . To me its about taste and effect. Im doin this for me and no one else. This green pheno is really what puts the power behind the jem line i think. Ill have the Porn pics tom, and i did get some awesome color. Its going to have good Jar appeal. Not bag but jar. lol

I had intentions on breeding her but i had a slight error in my pollen department. I made a slight mistake and it cost me my pollen. Live and learn i guess. Its all good though. I have a few more things up my sleeve other than the Jems now. I have a few more auto strains that i am about to give a run... few of em aren't out yet, so yeah im addicted. And I have to agree with you, i think it was failure rather than really not liking the strain. If they sit back and think they wouldnt have the strains they have today if people didnt start messing around. I see this is at a young stage and i think down the road autos are gonna be a little more dominate as THC levels increase.

SWEET grow! Just bought 10 Purple Jems and I will do all 10 at the same time! I will also leave 1 male in with all the females for mad seed production. I will Grow Journal them also.

Apparently, you're better off having the male pollen ready to go when the female is just getting started with the budding, to maximize the seed production. These things are FAST once they start 2 flower! They'll double in size quickly once it starts, so I tend to agree with the philosophy of having the pollen ready to go ahead of time.

That and penis envy! Some guys have the attitude that 'theirs is bigger' so that's that, and simply REFUSE to even acknowledge the worth of an auto. I saw the value immediately. It's perfect for stealth first off. You can grow one of these ten feet from a heavily trafficked area and probably get away with it til harvest. Also, WHEN it becomes legal, do you really think people are going to want to grow 8 foot monsters in their backyard? Well ok, maybe that's a bad question (cuz I know I probably will), but seriously, I think when it's legal, these lowryders will become the norm. Why have two 8 footers taking up space in your yard when you can have 20 different varieties growing inconspicuously and out of the way? It's not like those 8 footers are gonna be worth anything anyway! I see autos as revolutionary.
Great grow Duplex! Only about a week into flower (she's 24 days from seed today) and mine looks like a different plant. I half expected her to start stretching between nodes. Not yet though. Node spacing is so tight that the fan leaves on the branches are curling up because they have nowhere to go until they outgrow those main branch fan leaves. I've considered cutting a couple of the bigger leaves, but while those inner leaves are curled, they still look healthy, so i'm hoping those branches will clear within the next couple of days. At the rate they're going, they probably will. Did you have to do any trimming at all?

I hear ya man and agree they are a fantastic plant for all the above mentioned reasons. You can have a bigger variety with them.
Now as far as trimming goes i never remove any of my leaves untill they have yellowed. Mine usually dont start doing that till about time to harvest. So if you ask me no clipping...

yes I will, I want max seeds. I have 5 other plants in flower now, completely seedless and they will stay that way. and their huge plants and getting much bigger.

Not possible since I've never grown this plant before and have no male to collect from. I will do all ten at the same time and let it rip. What I get will be far better than buying again.
