This is the cola 0831kush cola.jpg0831kush cola2.jpg. About golf ball sized. White trichromes all over; no amber yet. Trich have been white for over a week. I took a small sample & tried it out. Worked good, nice stone. I was just about to start flushing it but I think I'll wait 1 more week & then a 3 week flush with RO H2O.

0831kush4.jpg0831kush5.jpg She is a PURPLE KUSH about 4 feet tall, 3 feet wide. And I am in the high desert of the south west, really hot & dry. Very sunny.

0831kush2.jpg0831kush.jpg0831kush3.jpgMore views of same plant. This started as a $40 clone about 2 feet tall, climatized and planted 5/30/2012.

Anyone around latitude 34 North (parallel w/ Los Angeles) and 100+ degree summers ever grow purple kush outdoors? When did you harvest? This girl isn't even close to purple... too hot?

PLATINUM O.G.:
0831og cola.jpg0831 og.jpg0831og2.jpg This other little plant is a Platinum OG. 2 feet tall by 18 inches. This one started a month after the 1st plant. It has really nice looking buds, its just small. I bought it as a 8 inch clone planted outside July 1st, 2012. Fist pic here is the main cola, size of a US quarter dollar coin. I like how all the leaves point upward naturally; kind of makes it look unique.

Thay are both in supersoil & get flora bloom & RO H20 2X week & plain Watered daily. Foliar feed in the morning w/ unsulphered molasses daily. These 2 grow better than any other plant in the yard. I dont want to fuck them up so I'll just keep doing what ever Im doing now. But if you have any insight on harvest times please holla at me.

This is my first grow & I need to thank the other growers here for all the help: FresnoFarmer, Tags420, Dyna Ryda, Laney, Teccmoney & many others--Ill be thanking each of you when Im high as hell. Thanks, couldn't have done it with out you all. :)

Still have a bit longer before there done, around 3-4 weeks. As for the purple kush..I think it might just be a little warm for her to change color.

Don't grab those scissors yet! Your girls still have quite a bit of maturing to do. I'd say they have at least another 3 weeks before you need to start flushing.

Happy growing:bigjoint:

WHEW! Thanks Bones & HotBox! Today is 1 week since I last used nutrients; I'll get back on schedule for 3 more weeks. THEN flush. Thanks a lot you guys. I was looking at this solar chart just now & I learned at my latitude the numbers of hours of daily sun will be at 12 (& then less thereafter) as of Sept. 24th. Sounds about right... I guess. :)

They look good. The first one looks like it could be close. Need to look at the trichs through a magnifing glass. Look for cloudy balls on the end of the trichs, maybe just a little amber. That's when I cut'em. Good job growing in the desert heat.
