Purple Kush and Rockstar Kush - 1000w HPS

Hey guys, long time lurker here, i have learned alot from the folks at roll it up and i wanna share my purple kush porn with everyone, alot of work went into this room along with alot of reasearching and browsing roll it up, im finally starting to get the results i was looking for and im a happy camper so i wanna show off...

Its kinda neat i see some familiar names from one of my favorite sites, shroomery.org, some of you may know me from there but i havent really posted in a while

My bloom room consits of

1000watt HPS Super HPS EN Hortilux EYE with cooltube and reflector
Cool Star high performance ballast "high yeild lighting"
6" 420 CFM Inline Vortex fan
Hydromix HP pro soil
Monster Bloom nutes and Molasses in Bloom
Instagreen foliar Spray(3-0-0) until i see buds
Avid to kill mites dead if they show their faces
Mylar covered walls with Mylar zipper door
Oscillating fan
4" ductwork for intake and exhaust


its a 3x8 room about the size of a regular closet, cement walls all the way around except for the door, was very difficult to ventilate, long story though maybe ill type it out if somebodys interested, maybe it could help someone out

Heres the cool tube,ballast and fan, cant take pix in the room at all when the lights on though, my phone gets lines all through it i guess because the ballast is too close.

Nutrients, Monster bloom and Insta green, the molasses isnt much to look at so i didnt bother, just a sticky old gatorade bottle, where i work we use it by the 500kg tote so its a bonus for me


And i was thinking about posting this in another thread for beginners but i guess i will just post it here, This bulb complete with shop light extension cord can be bought for 30 bucks at lowes, i thought this was a sweet score and wanted to share with you all, it is equivalent to 300 watts and it is very easy to install, perfect for closet grows, if you have the clothes hanger bar it hangs easily from that by the cord by tieing it at the top, doesnt put out too much heat, perfect veg light even though it is 6500k, my girls love em.

dude those plant for sure have a nutrient diffiency at least get some miracle grow or something they have no nutes to live thet should be like 2 3 times bigger also kush is a very hard plant to grow for the in experienced you should get a more sativa dom plant you will see next time around im not that experienced but from my last grow i had on nl#5 and 2 bubba kush from seed and 5 bubba or pk not sure and with a 1000w and i got total dry weight off the 2 from seed a half oz from the five bk or pk what ever it was i got just under a oz and from the one nl#5 i got just under 2 oz but i know where i went wrong my room was to cold at night kinda froze the roots. the last time before i got some mystery seeds with my nl order and got some type of sativa dom plant and with a 400w got 9 oz theres something wrong there and the only difference was the soil i used and the temps at night first time with 400w i used mokoko and next time with the 1000 was a promix and i used different nutes but that wasnt it because the nutes i got the second time are better then the last time first had flornova bloom and this time had botanicare pro series. anyways good luck flornova is a good starter nutrient and is a one part deal and zenzyme or similar product and maybe cal mag but never used it in a soil grow before actually in any grow check out my profile pic that was with a 400w eye blue

they are yellowing because they are late in flower and have very little N in their diet and purpling because of the strain..... they only had a few weeks veg and thats why they are smaller.

maybe the pix dont do them justice they are nice plants and have a few oz's on them already with a few weeks to go...

FROM THE LOOKS OF IT THATS ALL THERE GETTING IS N 3-0-0 AND WHAT EVER IS IN YOUR POWDER. opps caps was on sorry look into some other nutes man at least something basic, anyways im telling you you will get more out of your crop. maybe i am missing something but you should have between 750 to a 1000 grams from a 1000w bulb an experience grower would have more around 1.5g /watt

get some of this http://www.grotek.net/en/products/product.aspx?id=99 the insta green is more for veging and the monsterbloom is an supplement to base nutrients which you dont have. but as you can see you dont really need any ferts or anything to grow herbs./well potent ones anyways are a different story
