Hi there
I have a purple punch auto just going into it's 6th week. The thing is I haven't got any pistols yet and it's supposed to be 60 days from seed to harvest! Obviously not the case!! Question is has anyone grown one on here and did it take a long time to get pistols on it?
I have done two other grows and had no problems so maybe it's just Barneys biggin it up with the grow times? 20200614_144321.jpg20200614_150314.jpg

Yeah I see where your coming from with that Treefarmercharlie.
From others I've seen on Barneys grow diaries they range from 4 to 8 weeks before flowering starts.
I'm on 18/6 so if she gets to big before pistols I'll switch it to 12/12 and force it to flower.
Thanks for your input pal

My autos started flowering week 8 into veg and they were supposed to be 12 week strains, some can go for 10 weeks plus I’ve heard

If she is still vegging out nicely stay the course on cycle. Give it a couple of weeks . Most autos do begin sex anywhere from 22 days to 40 days + .... it’s the genetics of the strain and the ruderalis. Some strain crosses aren’t the best mashup. If she begins to mimic a photo period in growth / stage then flip when ready.

Part of the reason I hate Barney’s and 5heir gear...... Inconsistent

I have had a few Mephisto go 5 weeks before they start flowering. I have found that the times listed on the breeders page are for optimal conditions etc. I have found breeders cycle time plus 2 - 3 weeks has been a lot closer to the cycle length.

Hey there Pistol Kid yeah it's always gonna be hit and miss with the seed to harvest business they say one thing but us growers know the score. And I don't have perfect conditions like a lot of us probably always struggling with temps and RH. But She still looking well and starting to stretch propper fast now so I reckon the next week or two I'll see flowering start. All the best dude. And cheers :D :bigjoint:
