Nice, I assume the HPS light is why the stretch occurred then though correct? Pretty sure (unless it was intentional to stretch) if you add a couple blue ((bright white um like 6500k)( or possibly even blue party bulb CFLs? )(experiment ive been wanting to try myself))) lights during the first couple weeks of starting flowering it really cuts back on it stretching up and your plant will focus more on trichome and bud formation.. Just info I've looked into and figured I would pass it on.

i have the all in one hps light so the heat was too much until i got my fan so the plants stretched at first.but any further grows should be fine.
i also have been thinking of getting a 400 watt with a digital ballast.

that would be a nice upgrade. lol I personally haven't messed with hps lighting..grow size restrictions/time/and heat..wish i could though!

But being able to disperse the heat into different areas with multiple cfl's right onto the foliage is where the cfl's come handy. Can't have hps within even like a foot of the plant can you?
