Purple strains

I am running 7 x 3.5 gallon dwc with 500w always on 18/6 in a 4x4x7tent. Also to mention I am using ph'd rainwater as my area is getting lots of it. From the last post I had done about a month and a half ago about testing purple autos, I am pleased to actually find a trusted provider of seeds. Very much looking forward to having some purps in my library of herb. As for my current grow I am at week 6 and things are becoming more purple every day. It seems like there are the single cola non branching arms and mini sativa looking autos with branching arms. Here's some pics at week 4 5 and 6. I learned a valuable lesson on not keeping your autos root bound or transferring them very much. Next round will be better. And hopefully I can find purple auto strain that's more indica with branching arms for a slightly larger yield.

Keep in mind that the purple can be influenced by temperature. Some strains go purple when it's cold and may not be very purple at all if it's too warm. Of course genetics are also a factor, so some will have a better chance of being purple regardless of temperature.

Sorry I don't have a strain suggestion though, but I thought I would mention that.

Pinkie Pie Day 40 Autoflower, goes purple regardless of temperature (I have literally grown these in temps above 106 degrees [outdoors] and they still put out this color)IMG_20170107_173858.jpg
not available yet but almost fully stabilized and already very uniform so stay tuned :D

BTW your grows looking great so far man, any pistils?

I have had first signs of Flowers's since week 4 when I transferred them to hydro from a plug. I think I stunted them a bit because of stuff I was waiting for in the mail postponed it. I am currently at the end of week 6 and two of my plants are showing dark shiny down curling leafs which I see as nitrogen toxicity. I cut the ppm from 550 to 275 and it seemed to continue at the same rate. The ph was very stable at 6.1 Even the new leafs are showing it. Only 2 out of seven plants are curling but the others are very healthy. In my opinion it's the phenotypes since the curling plants are the only single cola high ruderalis looking plants as opposed to the healthy branching big wide leafed plants that look more like a higher indica mix. With ruderalis only available as seeds, it's such a gamble on the stability of what you get. I'll keep exploring veriatals of autos till I find one I like. The narco purps in the picture showing wilting and very dark buds smells so much like the original SnoCap. Kinda sour smelling.

It's pretty good. It definitely has a different taste that I like a lot. The smoke is really smooth and the high is a medium stone but enjoyable. I took some to a little party and everyone seemed to enjoy it. It's not a super stoner that will rock your world but it is good and it has some unique qualities. If you are planning on growing autos I would recommend getting a 3 pack and giving them a shot. Nice little rock hard nugs.
