has anyone ever grew purple widow indoors, i ordered some beans from the tude and i didnt really research the plant to much and i found out its an outdoor strain. has anyone ever done this strain indoors? much help would be appreciated and tips as well like how long to veg and etc? will bush master work on the plant i have that and could use it during veg since its a beast during that time, and i will use some during flower because its going to have a good stretch. so help would be properly rep`d

This plant likes to stretch! I vegged for a week topped half of them and they got to be 4 ft tall. The stench is unbelievable definitely need a scrubber. Other than that great plant very crystaly. It didn't give me purple buds though.

I believe, but who am I to say anything?, that the purple and blue hues we recognize in strains, such as this one, are represented when the surrounding temperature is substantially cooler at night time hours than during daylight. But then again, I don't know much.

yea i understand, but its supposed to be genetically i seen on diff sites people growing them and some get purple and some dont and the ones that had purple were the ones who had proof of that strain. so im not sure. anyone rants and lies about what they have so we will see i guess.

While the temp fluctuation may be true, purple strains will turn purple when treated like any other plant. The two plants below were basically next to each other and treated identically. One turns purple, the other shows more resin. It's genetics, not environment in this case.

I have purple widow right now in like the 6th or 7th week of and its definitely purple all over. It does seem to grow wierd and there was not to much branching on 2 out 3.

I'm pretty positive there are "true purple" strains that will turn purple purely fron genetics, but a lot of purp you see is a result of cold nights. I've even seen schwag with purp on it (though some of that can be mold, the dark purple I'm referring too was also from cold night temp.)

Some true purps right here:
