Putting plants into flower to show sex.

Hi RIU, I recently started my third batch of plants indoors and one of them is a seedling. The rest are all clones are definitley females.
What I am attempting is to have the bagseed plant in my flowering closet for a few days until the preflowers show up. After this if it turns out it is a "she", I want to put her back under my flouro's to veg more.
I'm sure people have done this before, but does this cause the plant any problems?
Clones are all I have grown so far due to easily being able to access them and I'm still a bit noobish with some things.
Pic is a group shot of all my indoor. The biggest three are in flowering. Green pot is og kush, white pot is skywalker og, clay pot is tahoe og, smallest plant is LA confidential, 2nd smallest plant is master kush, and the 3rd smallest plant is the random bagseed that I have.

All my plants are in fox farms ocean forest and are vegged with 4 24w HO t5 fixtures and I use a 250w HPS for flowering.
Thanks for reading/help

If left in veg long enough it will show preflowers or you can do what you doing to determine sex just make sure you keep a eye out make sure no nanas go off in there.

You get preflowers while the plant is vegging - read my link below.
That's a nice link Spanish +rep

I recenty reduced a pool of 4 mothers to just one that had the phenos I like. the one I end up choosing has intense preflowers and has never received less than 6 hours off dark per night. It's line flowers the quickest and has the densest buds out of the bunch. Some girls become women quicker than others. I am going to stop before I drop a Miley Cyrus joke.

just sex a clone of the one you want to know.
then their is no stress on that one just a clone.

meezy4tw they will show preflowers during veg once theyre big enough, about 4 nodes down from the top of the plant... if u put em in the flowering room, you will induce flowering, once u start vegging again thats gonna throw em off and theyll take weeks to recover. just give them a little more time, itll save you alot in the future

but then he is going to change them back to veg...won't that mess with them?
A little stress but they should be fine. Its done alot from many different growers.I would take clones then put the big plants to flower whatever the sex is i know what the clone will be.But thats me.

Wow, thanks for all the help guys. I'll take all your words into consideration.
I think I'm going to keep it in the flowering room for a couple days. Worse comes to worse I have to chop it down or the plant gets stressed and ends up being tossed. Like I said earlier I have access to clones so I can just get different stuff if a plant fails on me.
Thanks for reading and the help guys.

Sexing then reversing the plant back to the veg state is done all the time. The only problem with this senario is the reversal to veg will take 2-3 weeks to turn around, then the original plants would be outgrowing the reversed one. By sexing a clone, it will still be showing sex before the other plants start flowering and if it is male can be removed from the flowering chamber before the pollen releases to give the females more room to flower.
