Antares is the 15th brightest star in the sky. It is more than 1000 light years away.
Now try to wrap your mind around this...
This is a Hubble Telescope ultra deep field infrared view of countless entire galaxies billions of light-years away.

This just kind of buzzed me out a bit, thought I'd share it...
 
whoa....its crazy to know all that is up there in the sky and we are down here doing the same stupid shit everyday until we die
 
Yea, it's pretty crazy to think how small we are in the grand scheme of things ... Kinda makes you wonder what else is out there ... I mean as displayed above, there's other massive planets and suns, but what about on a smaller scale? I mean we're tiny compared to other things, so what about civilizations tiny compared to us... on other planets, planets that might be what we consider microscopic or smaller, could be twice the size of earth to some tiny civilization haha.
