I wouldn't argue with Aaron his expertise is well documented thought this message board. He doesn't need us we need him
Sound man. I wasn't arguing. What works for one might not for the other. I'm just saying i use UVB for 2 hours a day in the last 3 weeks. Since I've been doing that the last year my shit went a step up. The last run I didn't have the UVB on cuz the bulb went out and stuff wasn't as fire. To say UVB destroys it is strange since the sun naturally gives out UVB which would make outdoor weed garbage too. I would say if it was a bad light or used improper then it would probably mess it up. I will post a couple of pictures of the buds when lights are on and you can be the judge.

UVB is not going to kill active adults... it will fuck up your grow tho. It kills out your trichs. Don't use that. It's basically like nuking your THC, CBD, and many other terpenes.
UV-C is much better if you’re looking for pest control. Also it dose not kill the soft body pests it actually damages the dna so they can not reproduce. I run UV-C for 1-5 minutes 4 hours into dark. The levels are so low they do not effect plant dna nor will it effect photo period plants. Never used post harvest but I can see why people would attempt.

Why do you wait until 4 hours after lights off for UVC? And is this in flower?

The reason you wait until 4 hours after lights off is because that’s when pests are most likely to be out. I run it all the time even in flower. Also there’s less chance a person will be in there 4 hours after lights off.
