PVC grow tent kills plants???

i have one of these.

your going to have problems using those small pieces and all those T joints in the middle of spans though. i dont know if hanging lights in its going to be a good idea with all those weak points

built mine for under about 50 bucks.
the corners are one t joint and one elbow each. all the supports and cross beams are put in with snap T's that dont reduce the structural integrity of the main frame
the black plastic is 40 mill i think. the whole role was around $12 us and its heat sealed together with a laundry iron and the door is Velcro. when its all shut and the air intake and outtake filters are on it (there not in the photo) its 100 light leak proof.

its 6 by 4 by 5

the plants seem to love it so i dont think you have to worry there

im going to make a second one as soon as i can scrape together the funds for the light that go in it maybe ill put a tutorial up on the you tubes

yeah i wouldent run any lights at all in that period man u can i wouldent

grow ops have been using visqueen for years as liners mine is just form fit. how is it any less safe than canvas? the ignition temperature of PVC is 435 and the ignition point of any common plastic is at least 350 if your running that hot you have bigger issues. some low quality PVC has a melting point (not ignition) of around 75 but anything sec\40 or grater is more around 110 and that heated through. again if your running that hot you have bigger issues. maybe invest in a in tent thermostat that starts shutting shit down if it gets above 80?
