I'm seeing TONs of bud sites... are they just going to be pop corn buds? I was hoping at least 3 oz a plant.

You might be quite disappointed then if you were expecting atleast 3 ozs. No, they aren't popcorn buds they fill in real nice. Dense bud, looks very good and taste good. The nugs itself are just very small.

To be honest I would be fine even with 2 oz I hope. Having a few people say I'll be well into a pound with the entire grow. I'm ok with that :D

Autos might fool you with the amount of veg they do. This is where I believe a lot of the hate for autos come in. You can take a clone and veg for 2-3 weeks and it will yield about the same as most autos...but then when you either get lucky or have the skills down you start pulling numbers...

Towards the end you have to stop treating it like its in veg....you begin to allow the plant dry out more. This will force the plant to build bud and resins

Well I'm hoping to take this grow out an extra week or so as I feel like the cold had slowed growth somewhat during the first couple weeks. Only reason I went with autos is because I didn't understand when I good time to switch lights would of been. I have a water tester with 1 2 3 4 on it and 1 is dry and 4 is wet. I tend to just let it get to about 1-2 and give it another day till I water. Seems to be doing fine that way so far and I am trying feed them with nutes every water after talking to a grower that works at the local hydro store as well.

In all honesty it feels like I'm on track with my grow ..even going beyond what I'm hoping for as long as I follow what I feel is generally the right steps to solve problems as they come up.

Toss that soil dry tester and get the feel for when plants need water and when they don't.

Only reason I use the tester as my plants are being LST to the the milk crates they are on top of. Makes it a lot less of a hassle to cut the ties every day to just lift it for a sec. I still shuffle them on the crate and can for the most part if they need water. I learned real fast in my 1 gallons when they are dry or bot from the weight. Not counting the visual ques I get from the plants leaves as well :)

This should change once I get my bamboo put in for my colas to hold on, be pulled out and open for more light.

Yeah I've been going nuts with them. As I can see on a few leaves on my Skunk 3. But everything else is doing amazing!

Got my room sorted out somewhat and moved around for more room to grow and a temporary fan hanging now.

2.5 ounces is great! Single plant grow? I'm hoping to average that per plant that I have now I hope.

Heck I would be happy with 2 per plant lol..

I only got 1oz per plant the first time, but after getting some really good advice from other members
(like Justugh & Dr. Who) I was able to do a little better this time around. I left a few smaller buds on the plant just to see if they will get any bigger/denser but I'm probably just waisting my time......
If I had cut & dried these smaller buds then I think I wld've actually had a little over 3oz from this plant.
I included a few pics of what I left on the plant, does anyone know if they will grow any bigger now??

Not worth it from what I've seen besides letting trics maybe develop more. I belive better off starting more autos vs trying to grow out the bud?
