Hi Rollitup Community,
I have been looking for a couple new leds, I currently own some vero29's and some cxb3590s,
but lately the newer tech looks really nice, and ive found that kingbrite has some amazing deals on the Quantum Boards.. I Am very interested in buying some of them..
my main concerns are that im unsure where to find datasheets that state the forward voltage and Amps (etc...).
and would like to know what drivers I should be using as I have found that the [HLG-240-54a / ELG-240-54a] along with the [HLG-240-2100 / ELG-240-2100] are the Cheapest options for a nice good quality driver, I was thinking of using one of these drivers stated above per 2 quantum boards.
Do those boards from KingBrite typically have the same layout as the HLG (https://horticulturelightinggroup.com) Quantum boards ?

I think they are the same voltage actually, but just simply ask Jerry or Vivi and they'll tell you all the info. Usually by sending a detailed PDF.

Great Thanks Airwalker! I will be sure to send them a message asking about this, their prices are just so amazing even with the shipping fee it works out cheaper than anywhere else for me by a longshot

Ya $20-30 boards is hard to beat even with $40-60 shipping costs.
They're going to be lm561 or 301B but most likely not the best bin. But if you go into it knowing that, it's not a bad way to go.

to be fair.. all for people getting the same panels etc configuration as known sellers..

but one should not use "QB"...

bins shimz..the difference is moving your panel a 1/2"

ps..cobs r better from what i am seeing..panles are way good though

I have been looking around to see if QB's perform well compared to cobs in the penetration department. but am still undecided whether i shud get more [Vero29-C] and run them at 100w a peice like my last 400w Vero kit, it really smacks out some nice product, alot better than any 600w hps ive ever used or i could jump onbaord the QB train, i dont have any height limitations so thats not really much of a concern.. at this time it would cost me almost the same amount to build either QB-288 or Vero29-C. im looking to make 2x 400w lights for a 4x8

because under driven cobs are grouped in say 50 w outputs..there is more focus penetration

with no lens or reflector i can get to 6" and not bleach em..yeh i can get closer with panels

..i can see panels do well lower down too..

but obviously not much closer..again.. i like both panels and cobs
