naw it means to go through something. I have the same dense canopy in my 4x4 as my 5x5 barely any light gets through the bottom of my canopy underneath the slim 600 how ever underneath the optic 8 the canopy has way better lighting coming through the canopy because the cobs do a better job at projecting light, thats why they the same tech is used in headless. First hand experience speaks for itself

The disadvantage with cobs is the thermal management, they put out plenty of watts thru a small pcb, which means you need really beefy heatsinks, and even so the junction temp will generally be higher than in a QB style light.
Advantage is that optics are a lot easier, and replacement may be a bit cheaper.

You need more like 450watts to replace a 600watt HPS.
Its rated to do so. Optic hasn't let me down yet!! How big is your grow space ?

Its a 5f10 tall attic, 18ft long, 5ft wide (usable)
Sloped roof towards the ceiling which is why I need max 33 inch wide light.
I usually use Adjustawing 600w HPS with 8-9 plant under it in 7.5L pots.
Damn the Optic Slim 320h seems a great option but its like $120 more than the
Telos 010 Pro.
Its 2x either one I’d be getting.

Ive seen a few give up on their telos. Also, but not sure, dont the include optics? If your height limited its a bad idea too include optics which makes hanging height higher. Short space screams for somthing like strips or qb132/120.
