Querkle Sittin' Back And Veggin'.

Ya yield isn't much with TGA strains that I've seen but I knew that getting into it. I'm about 9 weeks in and been checking trichs and still a lot of clear yet so gotta wait. And every pheno is diff. in its own way.
The one in scrog is a romulan looking pheno, Not a lot of trichs on her but she is turning color more than the rest she's the one with the under the canopy pic.

Short Querkle is the lights off pic with some hps pics and she is the frostiest one with a deep grape smell the one to the left on my side by side pic. And I think she is gonna finish faster because they way the hairs are browning up and curling without new white pistols growing.

Then there is the one that has a decent grape smell and has a good trichs going but not as much as the shortQ. She has Spear head buds kinds looks like vortex attitude pics but not quite as vibrant colors and a lot more hairs. This one is on the right side of my side by side pic. And all Bottom row of 5 pics of are her.

I have a pheno that I have NOT flowered out all the way because the orig. was kicked outside to see what would happen and she was pollinated bad with seeds on every structure. But she was the most purple/grape smelling one of all. I have one of her flowering now about 2 weeks in and she is just like her mom minus the seeds.NO Pics Of her yet.

Still gonna wait till a smoke all phenos before I eliminate clones and also my lost pheno I gave out that I got back is rooted and greening up and loving the FFOF/LW soil.

Taste was def more in the lime-ish area instead of a purple taste I expected. The smell drifted more into the lime citrus spectrum in the last two weeks as well but it still present.

The thing that gets me is the tang, it leaves a little battery kinda taste in the back of your mouth that actually makes it water for a while afterwards.
Color wise only a few stalks directly in the AC air path actually turned purple and only on the leaf edges really. Buds are bright green to lime color almost.
The hairs have been turning on mine since week 3 and continue to do so, not one I think you can really judge on pistal color, I took a piece under my USB microscope and its mostly clear still almost at the end of week 8. Probably only gonna let it go till the end of 9 and then I have to rotate.

You need some time to cure though the taste will change later on if your curing right. I harvested some blueberry bubblegum(shitty pheno) And when It was chopped her smell and sample bud was hardly anything and now month later curing she is stanking and tasting way better but not the best high though I need to have knock out weed.

But I have had some bud from harvest to cure she was the same skunky smell all the way 3 months later in curing. So go figure.

Yes and strain too, like my blue hash just kept going with cloudy with some amber and I do have almost 3in wide on 2 colas from that plant.
My querkle though is no rounder than a half dollar on one pheno and quarter on other.
Ive seen some crazy hydro stuff on her with soccer ball size buds! I will try to remember what thread they were on and link it here if you haven't seen em.

Oh and I just smoked a sample of the low querkle and the other one I'm calling SOur Querkle cause she just has that sour taste and is not even cured at all.
The low querkle had a undertone of grape but still alot of green in it so curing will help im sure.
I havent chopped yet both of what I tried were pretty heady and the sour is prob really close.

Well I fucked up and didn't chop the sour pheno and she went to long and so did the romulan looking one also. Guess they are a 9weeker not a 10w.
Oh well good thing I have some of the same clones flowering. The low querkle was chopped just right I believe haven't smoked yet but trichs were cloudy with very few amber.

Here's a couple pics of the Low Querkle. She has some undertone of purple color. And smell is lil bit of grape with your average Mj smell. Will see how she is.... sample bud week earlier was lil grape tasting with no cure.

Mine def did not look like any of those.
The biggest difference is the color of the pistils, mine turned a deep deep red. Probably the reddest hairs I've seen on anything Ive done before.
Ill try and get pics up later, I got 400x shots of the trichromes and all, def grabbed at the right time with about 25% amber but the weirdest thing is that allot of the trichrome heads seem mutated and have second heads popping out of the first ones in clusters, some even had 3 heads and a few are so mangled you can't really tell they just look like trichrome knukles......

Even better news.... despite the lack of thick colas the end weights are looking dead on ave (2rip per). I was expecting more in the 1.5 range based on looks so it was a nice surprise.
Taste matches the lime slurpe description almost to a tea.

Shes earned a spot in the permanent rotation for sure.

Its ok, only 60$ and the interlacing sucks (random colors in low contrast areas) but it gets the job done.

Well bad news on the super grape smelling pheno. Bout 45 days and she has about 4 lil hermie things sticking out on 3 of the top buds. I took a sample nug yest cause she is looking about done and waiting for it to dry up to test. trichs are clear/cloudy.

So I cut of the three tops that where showin nanners and they where close to light so not sure what happen there but the rest is good and no nanners.

hate nanners........keep me up at night....along with thieves and mold
my jilly beand didnt do great in the g/house but looks good indoors.......

Here's some pics of 1st gen clones going. And some of the one that is a hermie but she is bout finished and have been plucking nanners only been about 7 sets so far pulled. And I harvested some tops that were turning purple and 44 days so will see if its good.

So I Harvested 2 of the second gen clones. Smoked sample buds of both of grape pheno and low pheno and were pretty stoney and heavy in the face but its not a smoke report gotta wait to cure for a bit.
These I harvested at week 7.5 They finished fast with all cloudy and some amber on the sugar leaves. I Don't like amber as I'm finding out.....Most all strains I love are all cloudy trichs heavy on THC.
I believe I did a lot better on these babies first time around on flowering out a clone and I like it way better than starting from seed but Its been A while since a popped one and kinda miss it.
