question about 12/12 for vegging

the question is, in my cabinet I got 6 65k cfl's and want to know if I use 12/12 for vegging, will it keep them kinda low in height, cause I have limited grow space in height, I have read that when flowering they will stretch, which is ok just as long they are not hitting the lights, correct ???, I know I can use LST or SCROG, to make the bush, so if you want them to bush, you only want them as big as the pot there growing in correct ???. So using 12/12 will not make them go into flower until I switch to the 6 2700k lights then they will flower correct ???

I have read this one like 5 times. You dont veg on 12/12 , you force flowering on 12/12. You veg on something like 18/6. Starting a plant on 12/12 from seed will produce a smaller plant with probly less yield ( im not 100% sure ) but it does make your plant smaller. Also , whats up with people useing so many CFLs? i have excellent results with 3 42w bulbs positioned horizontally.

If your using cfls keep the light close to them but not touching them also from personal experience i keep my veg cycle 24 hrs. until the last 2 weeks of veg. then i run 18/6

what ever you want to do will work on 12/12 your plant should go straight into flowering you will get decent buds in short period of time due to low veg time. on the other hand if u want your plant to grow bigger simply let it veg under 16/8 for some time than flip to 12./12. both will work. if u have limited space i would reccomend 12/12 straight from the seed might be good idea than just clip a clone when u start to see buds formin and u have your self a perpetual growth. btw never tryed it but will work 4 sure if u have enough horizontal space.
