question about a growing light imma buy.

so im about to buy this set up

my current grow isnt doin so well,so i might start over with this light and order some seeds online,like some ac desial and some afgan kush,will this set up work for both veg and flowering ?the set up comes with a mh bulb and a hps bulb 600w.also,what is that big blueish purple box in the picture?do i need it?i would like to find a bundle like this but without the things i dont have to have.hopefully a lil cheaper.thanks

Its mh for veg and hps for flower or a mixture of both for flower but u can use hps for veg and flower so since you want to save cash just go with hps for your entire grow.
