Question about a pump filter

Here is an issue Im slowly running into.I have an aero 28 site setup.First go at aero really.I washed all the hydroton pebbles before using but am finding they are dropping micro debris when sprayed.I believe this debris is fouling my sprayers as every day there are several not spraying or just spitting. This is gonna be a probably and I may now need to do emergency rebuild.I see the dust in the bottom of the res now and was curious if I put a filter like a pool skimmer screen over the pump intact to filter this crap would it stil allow the nutrients to get through since they are micro or do you think that that would filter them too??

You need an inline filter, most aeroponic systems use one. And the dissolved solids will go through the filter, remember, they're "dissolved."

sorry Man, couldn't resist!

I have only seen about 4 units but never saw a filter on them so now Im a little worried...wonder if the hydro shop might have 1.Know any web sites that show them for reference

You can get an inline filter that has 1/2 inch intake and outflow, and you can clean the filters. Some systems use two.

Im still looking for the inline filter no one has 1 found a weird looking filter at the hydro shop for $40 but Im gonna look some more. I cleaned the whole system today Disassembled and cleanneed it.New res water and tank scrub rised filter for half hour.Ripped all the spray lines out put in 28 new better misters and added a filter bag over my pump.I will also not add Pirahna mix to the res as it wasnt nice either. Gonna stay straight liquid nutes only as that was a mess getting all done hopeing clones didnt mind to much they got droopy but we will see got 12 backup still sitting as I figured might loose some in this first time. If not they going outside to nature around the globe and going all natural for an expirement in natural left alone growing ...hmm fun
