Question about CFL Heat Issue

Yo I was wondering how to solve this heat issue.

I am building a flowering room out of a small (4x4) closet

I took a 6 light fixture from home depot and added 6 y adapters.

I am using (10) - 30W 2050Lumen 3500K bulbs and (2) 42W 2600Lumen 2500k Bulbs.

The problem is the closet has no ventilation and not enough room to run an air duct. I was thinking that having a large fan circulating the air might be enough.

Any ideas?

Oh ya, will the 25,000 Lumens be enough to flower one medium-large sized plant? (Hopefully Humbolt reads thiz cuz I know u will know)

Thanks

i bet 12 cfl's will be enough for one plant. i think it will get very hot in there with no ventilation.

just get a small computer fan to exhaust the air out and there ya go.

Ive had about 20 lights in my closet and a small 4 in fan took care of my heat issue

i think 400 watts of cfls is mad overkill for 1 plant... the sun produce's 10,000 lumens per foot... so more then that might be a waste... so take some lights away and it will get cooler ... also try to find a way to put some sort of ventalation in... its a must

thats about the size of my closet,(3x6) and heat hasnt been an issue yet.

but i just bought an hps for flower that might make it a little too warm so ill be watching and prolly be using a few of your solutions for my own girls.

cfls made a few healthy looking plants in my garden and i expect theyll do the same for you, but be patient, if you cant do that go for the hid. they just kick ass

12 CFL to flower one plant??? You should take away about 1/3 of those lights, (4) CFLs is considerend enough to flower a good size plant but the more lights the better...

Is there any way you can keep your closet door open for hours at a time, thats how i keep my heat level down and also a small desk fan is constantly blowing on the lights too..

Gonna have to disagree here. I did 4 CFLs per plant and my yield was crap huge disappointment
Once I bumped it up to double the CFLs (8 per plant) i literally TRIPLED my yield

When heat is the issue yeild will be sacraficed.More light is always good but too much heat is worse

The trick is to use just enough bulbs so that your temp is ok. Use a fan and control your temperature with the ammount of lights. Always use atleast 4 bulbs, it wont hurt to use 4 when it is hot and when it is cool add more. try it out, it worked for me, aswell as leaving the door open for a little bit when its hot
