Question about DIY qb

Hey dudes. I have been reading through a shit ton of threads on qb's and LED. I am a noob and want to set up my closet. I started a few seeds under cfl a few weeks ago and they are doing ok. I want to get an led for my light. I've been looking at dual qb288 setups since I'm about 4x2. I kinda wanna go the DIY route. I saw the v1 288 from HLG is $30. With heatsink and a driver it would be around 100. You think that would be ideal? To start with one 288 to see how they will veg with it. Then I can add another 288 later for flowering? Or would y'all reccomend buying 2 of those boards and a driver and run it without heatsink at 150 watts for more coverage. Also If I ran two without heatsinks is there an alternative to an aluminum frame? I've seen a couple with wood and pvc but that seems sketch. Thanks for letting me lurk!

A 320w, 2 board lengthwise setup is absolutely ideal for a 2X4 area.

I would have to use different boards no? The HLG v2 kit is 260.
That is enough for a 2x4. It's true that you would have the potential to yield more with more light, but (in my opinion) optimizing your environment and plant health will do more for you than bumping up from 32w/sq ft to 40w/sq ft.
