Question about drying in a rubbermaid box

I made a dryer with an inline fan and activated carbon. Now, do i have to put grills or i can just load everything in and shake it once or twice per day? will it mold?

grills, for sure. And don't shake. Turn them gently. I like pizza boxes with paper towel on bottom, just one layer per box with air holes cut & a small fan blowing on the stacked boxes. I rotate & flip the boxes over once per day. It worked for me.
