question about florashield

Im using floranova bloom and im in the 4th week of flower.. my ppm are at 1500.. i have a 40 gallon resivoire..

my ?? is .. can i add florashield to my nutrient tank,, with 1500 ppm.. will this work still.. will it clean the media with the additional salts...

I was under the assumption that FloraKleen was for adding to the rez to clean the salt build up on the media and roots. I thought FloraShield was for sterilization purposes.

i think your right.. so can i use it to "sterilize" my media... with the res in its current condition.. ??
