Question about Flowering

My plant has been on 12/12 cycle for 12 days and it is about 2 1/2 feet tall, im using 5 26w 2700k cfls, and there is 7 stigmas visable so i know its a female its just after 12 days i dont really see any forming of buds except a few hairs just now indicating its a female, is this normal? should i see more of a development? or will i start seeing the starts of buds in 1-2 weeks? the main cola seems to have a hairy look to it.

normal, you won't see buds for 4-5 weeks.

Yeah just be patient and it the buds will start,everything is slower with cfl growing.Mine are about 3 weeks in and have some nice buds starting...

ok thanks i thought so i was just making sure something wasnt wrong because the plant looked very healthy and is still growing massively its just flowering slow

i grew a thai skunk X and it seemed to take forever to fully mature jus sit back and wait until the "white hairs" turn to a golden amber or brown(not necessesarly all hair but at least 60%of them) do, on my plant it started to bud and as it matured more n more lil' nugs grew into each other thus producing BIG buds, patience is the rule GOOD LUCK...PEACE
