Question about frozen seeds?

A friend of mine recently received some Afghan and SKunk seeds from a guy he knows. These seeds had been in a freezer for a while and he asked me to find out whether they were still good and how long they would be good for? Anyone know? +rep for help

You will just have to plant them and try to germinate a few. It just depends on the storage, freezing would keep the seed viable for the longest time. Seeds over 30+ years old have been known to germinate, so try it and let us know how it goes.

freezing will destroy the cells of the seed no chance. Good luck anyways would be cool to see if they sprout but I highly doubt it.

weed grows wild all over in the northern states and canada. I can take you out to a place where at least a 5 acres strip of ditches is full of wild hemp. hence my name ditchweed. It aint worth a crap but it is growing everywhere. I live in MN by the way get pretty cold here.
