Only one I can think of, you know that they have cracked and what ones before you put em in the soil, it is a long wait if the seed doesn't crack, If I do em in paper towel I only wait till I see the root, I don't let it work its way in as was said earlier, this causes damage, with the Low Ryders I made myself they were very hit and miss, so to be sure I would wait on them to show themselves

i personaly dont use the paper method i i use peat cubes

happy to report after taking advice from this post I have had one seed successfully punch out a sprout. I cam to a realization today, if you look at my pics posted you will understand. I had placed the seeds into peat discs but not into soil. The seeds put roots in the disc but they were not covered by soil so had nothing to grow in. Today I gently placed all the seeds into cups with soil with holes punched in the bottom to allow drainage. I used miracle grow organic seed starting mix. I hope this is a good blend. If anyone has used this with success let me know.

ive used straight out compost for my jiffy cubes or peat cubes medium is a good factor, but had better results with ABOVE normal humidity levels and Timing (anytime after the new moon like NOW ) up untill the full moon with 100% success rate. i will be pictures soon of this experiment to prove for yall

Yeah man, moisture is what starts the process. But half the websites talking about germination being affected by moon phases claim a waxing moon is best and the others claim a waning moon is best - some claim just prior to either. Was unable to find any studies that showed increased germination success based on moon phases... with the exception of one supposed 10-year university study that's mentioned repeatedly but never cited or sourced directly - so was unable to even see the who/what/where/when/why or anything about it. Which is peculiar.

Anyone else subscribe to the moon phase thing that can enlighten me?

i dont know but from the crecent moon till full moon i get the best results i have the lest best results with germination in new moon anythinh after the full moon i will give 100% germination the difference between my new moon babies its that the ones that do pop have big root systems resulting in huge plants i will show yo the difference between 2 seedlings in wich one is a new moon seedling and the fullmoon seedling the growth on the new moon seedling is close to 3 the size dispite they arfe only 2.5 weeks appart

If you have a system that works for you then keep rocking it out. I'll admit I'm skeptical - but not overly so that I won't give the benefit of the doubt. There are stranger things in nature, and the moon surely does have the capability of impacting earth's ecosystem with gravitational forces.

what you need to do bro is hav a cup of water put a couple of drops of nitrozyme they will split in bout 2days then transfer to soil cover it with a plastic bag or clinfilm to get the humidity up to 90-100% and 2-3 days they will pop up.. peace!!
