Hey guys I'm about to make a diy hydro setup my only question is after its all complete, wen my plants r in the net pots are the net pots and medium submerged in the water? Barly touching? Plz let me know

I'm sorry guys, I believe its dwc. I have a five gal bucket with a bubble stone in it if that helps

That's dwc. You need to jeep roots wet. So if just starting out you are going to have higher water level but later you do want just the bottom tucking the water and let it drop. I'm not that informed on dwc it isn't a way I can grow but willing to help if i can.

There are the basic ways to grow. DWC, RDWC, Drip to waste. Drip and drain. Ebb in flow, areo! And many ways to set each up. This site is littered with different DIY buckets systems. Just look threw and find one in your range of skill and price. Your looking at the bucket as a whole. I look at them as just a singal plant tray. So they can use everystyle of growing. Even use them for my soil plants. Have my 3 gallon pots set on them. Buckets have hoses on the bottom to drain the runoff to my waste bucket and that keeps my room dry and clean.

the biggest issue with DWC i had was access. i had 6 stand-alone buckets around a vertical dual tube. the ones in the back were a bitch to get to. if you don't have enough clearance to easily get to all the buckets, go with an undercurrent recirculating DWC setup with a central res that you can use to dump/flush. the other benefit is that the water level will be more-or-less the same in all the buckets, so you don't have to check each one individually.
