Hey everyone, hope your all having a great day so far. So i am doing a first time grow using a 3x3x6 mammoth grow tent, with a 250w HPS. Got all the basics i need, but i had a question regarding light. Forgive me for my ignorance but i wanted to know, if growing more than 1 plant with three being the maximum i'd grow in my set up, do the plants need to be directly under the bulb?(not in terms of distance i have the light fixture hanging 14 inches from my plants) Or can they be a little to the side of it as long as their getting light? I tried looking it up but never found anything specific. It might be a stupid qestion but if im not sure i'd rather ask. Thanks!

When growing from a single light source you need to turn your plants and rotate their position under the light to get even growth..

To get the most out of your plants surround them with light.

If you're using a reflector, plants to the sides get rotated. The light is reflected down in a cone shape. Parts of the plants outside the cone need to be rotated.

If you're not using a reflector, the light takes on a parabolic shape to the sides. The typical angular radiation pattern of the light bulb. Less light is directed down but more of the area gets full light.
