my plants are about 4 weeks into flowering on a 12/12 cycle and this morning the timer for my lights didnt turn on so by the time i was home 10 hours passed and the hairs on many of the buds have turned orange during this period of time....... my main question is....keeping cycle on 12/12 will the plants have been stunted enough to force themselves to be ready quicker or will they still need the normal amount of time to be ready even though much of the hairs are now orange??????? if anybody could help with this just so i know what to expect with it

Yeah like herbose said, I wouldn't worry to much about that, i've never seen a problem with the odd mishap with lighting :)

Me neither, but I've heard dire warnings about extra light during the dark period in flowering.

Hmm, i don't know.. i've given my plants extra light by accident in flowering when ive been out all day getting stoned and didnt get back in time! but ive only ever done that on the rarest of occassions.. i couldnt say if it effected them because i didnt have other plants to compare them with.. it didn't however make them unhealthy..

Besides that.. (You can put a plant into flowering, and them back into veg..) so how's that a problem?

True, I'm begining to think that extra light during dark period is an overblown issue too. I've been out in my garden when the moon was so bright I could read the Surgeon General's warning on my Marlboro pack and it didn't bother the girls one bit.
