I have read a good digital ph meter/probe is the easiest/best way to test the ph of my soilless medium. I also read you test the ph of the runoff water and the ph of the solution before you introduce it to the plants. So how does this tell you the ph of your medium? Do you just split it down the middle and assume that is your ph? For example, if you nute solution is 6 and your runoff ph is 5, does that mean its safe to assume your medium is around 5.5?
