Question about my flowers.

Here are some pics of my first plant ever grown. I believe its Master Kush strain and I first planted it's seed Mid-June. The pot is about 4-5 gallons and the plant is currently 2 1/2 feet high. Anyways, I need some help determining when the right time to harvest is. Are the flowers on my plant ready to harvest or do they need to grow more, also will my plant get taller, I'm pretty sure I heard for every gallon you get a foot of plant height? The help is much appreciated. :confused:

Overall looking good.

From the pictures you posted I would say no, she needs a bit more time. Have you read anything about trichombes(sp). If you have not, there's stickies in this forum as with the harvest/cure forum. The info posted there is more than what you need.

Although, someone will probily post that damn picture of the different stages of the trics. Good luck, if you have anymore questions shoot!

I'm good for now, yeah I know about Trichomes I just wanted to make sure I still had some time, I'm just worried about harvesting too late. I guess it's about time for me to get a microscope. Thanks for the reply.

Couple more weeks like said. Heres what happens, the hairs turn red/brown, then they shrivel back to the calyx. Then the calyx swell and fill with resin and the trichomes turn amber. I don't know why people don't explain the ripening process alittle more clearly.
