Question about Organics, Synthetics, and Foliar Feeding (in soil)

So, I've been on the fence between organics and synthetics for a while. I have been trying to cycle both to the best of my ability without having all the living micro organisms die every time I water with synthetics. (you can see my current grow in my signiture for watering/nutrient details)

But, I have an idea that I wanted to run by people. Suppose you were to water 100% organic while still doing very light synthetic nutrient foliar feedings.

I know some people out there say "No! Don't foliar your marijuana, etc etc" but after a lot of research and testing, it's absolutely fine (and actually increases yield!) to foliar all the way till week 5 flower, as long as you use straight water a couple times after your last nutrient foliar feed to wash off the residue. I've done it with 4 harvests now and no negative results, not even smell/taste. But my foliar is usually organic.

So, what do you guys think? Does it sound like a good idea to get that little extra pump from synthetics while leaving the soil itself completely organic? Just curious if anyone has tried it?

Happy growing :weed:

There's virtualy no difference besides the fact that some synthetic foliars you need to raise the light or leaves fry.

I was reading some stuff from a fella who grows outdoors in oregon. He swears by bubbled compost teas as a foliar application also. He says the good microbes will outnumber the bad ones on the leaves. He claims this helps with powder mildew and bud rot. Says the forest around the plants are white with powder mildew and his gals are green and clean. Like stated above use it, until midway in flower.

I am going to give it a try outdoors, but i supose indoors would work too if your dealing with bud rot/PM in your rooms allready.

Good topic mate.
