Question about PH when close to harvesting +rep

Hey guys just got a quick question, my little babies are about 4 weeks into flowering. Growing in soil and just stopped using nutes on the little girls.
This is my first grow and these plants have always had one problem after another but just recently they have had a major PH flux. I just checked the Ph this morning and its almost at 5. I also checked my run off and come to find my water Ph coming out of my plants has also droped to 5 for some reason when it always hoovered around 6-6.5.
So my first question is....is this normal when in flowering for a Ph drop or should I get the Ph back up?
If so how can I change the Ph of my soil?
By changing the Ph of my water?
And I know you can change the Ph up with baking soda, or so they say, because when I tried it it made the ph of my water go down.
So is there anything around the house that I can use without buying some PH up or down formula?

because I don't have a hydro shop around me and I would have to order off the internet
Any advice/suggestions will help
I got pics but figured they wouldnt help THANKS!

How are you measuring your Ph. if you added baking soda and the Ph went down then something is wrong with the way the Ph is being read. sounds like you have a bad Ph meter.

What kind of soil are you using?

Hey man. As far as I know, from house-hold products you can use vinegar to lower the P.H. of your watering solution. To bring it up is a bit more tricky though. Regular tap water has a P.H. of somewhere between 7.5-8.0. It depends where you're getting your water supply from. So just add tap water gradually to your watering solution until you reach the desired P.H. Make sure you leave the tap water in an open container for at least 30 minutes before watering your plants to let the chlorine evaporate from it. And about your current run-off P.H., if I were you I would like to get it back to about 5.9-6.5, even at this stage of flowering.

you can get pH up at any garden store or you can get some from a pool supply house or big box store that has pool or garden supplies.

I'm using perilite, vermiculite, peat moss mix. Its just a equal mix of both. Ya I kno vinegar lowers Ph but I'm trying to get mine higher cuz its like around 5 right now.
This could all be because me Ph meter is broken, or seems to be broken, because I have it in a cup of reg water and when I add baking soda it is telling me it is lowering the Ph!....idk I dont know how it would be broken though.....
You dont think a Ph flux this late in flower would harm them?

If you have your ph meter in a cup of water and when you add baking soda the ph goes down then your meter is definitely broken.

hydrated lime will raise the ph of soil, application rate is 25 ounces per square yard of peaty soil to raise ph by 1.0. hardwood ash and bone meal can work too, just more gradually. i would start ph adjusting my nutrient mix to between 6.5-6.8 and use neutral ph adjusted tap water in between feedings. But you can try the first suggestions if you don't want to buy ph up or down... also, you know if you want you can buy ph up and down at pet stores in the fish supply section... Ph flux in flower can harm your plants because it can cause nutrient lockout and lead to a whole slew of other problems, the main objective of growing is to keep the plants nice and green until the buds are rippening and it's time to flush.
